| VENUE “Verona Fiere” Convention Center Viale del Lavoro, 8 - VERONA www.veronafiere.it REGISTRATION To register for the Meeting, participants are kindly requested to fill in the enclosed registration form and< send it back to the Organising Secretariat together with payment of the registration fee, not later than 30 September 2006. After this date registrations will be accepted on site, only. Registration during the Meeting will not guarantee availability of the congress documents or participation to the working lunches. Registration entitles participants to: • attend the Meeting; • receive the participants’ kit; • participate to Presidents Reception, working lunch and coffee breaks. Accompanying persons program € 250,00 (VAT included) Upon presentation of a university attendance certificate, students will be exempted from paying the registration fee. Free student registration entitles to attend the scientific sessions, but does not include participants’ kit, book of proceedings and working lunches. SOCIAL PROGRAM Friday 27 October 2006 19:30 Presidents’ Reception Saturday 28 October 2006 21:00 Gala Dinner: € 80,00 (VAT included) per person ACCOMPANYING PERSONS PROGRAM Friday 27 October 2006 Guided tour of Verona City Center and its main historical and artistic attractions. Saturday 28 October 2006 Guided tour of the Lake of Garda and the Valpolicella Wine Region. Guided tours will take place if a minimum number of 20 participants is reached. HOTEL RESERVATIONS Hotel reservations can be arranged by filling in the enclosed form in all its sections and sending it to the Organising Secretariat together with advanced payment of the deposit amounting to the cost for one night. The remaining charge shall be paid directly at the hotel which will issue invoice or receipt for the entire amount. Please note that the number of single rooms is limited; when they are sold out, double rooms used as single will be assigned. HOTEL CHARGES (B&B, VAT INCLUDED)
NO REGISTRATION OR REQUEST FOR HOTEL ACCOMMODATION WILL BE ACCEPTED BEFORE RECEIPT OF THE CORRESPONDING FEES. CANCELLATIONS AND REIMBURSEMENTS The Organising Secretariat must be informed of cancellations by September 30, 2006. No reimbursements of registration fees or hotel deposits shall be made after this date. GETTING TO THE MEETING SITE Verona is located on the crossroad of the highway routes Venice (km 115) - Milan (km 160) and Brennero (km 220) - Bologna (km 140). Verona Fiere (Verona Fair) is about 3 km far from the city center, a few muinutes by car from the railway station and from the Highway Exit “Verona Sud”. Verona is served by Catullo International Airport which is easily reached in ten minutes through a straight highway connection. The Railway Station “Verona Porta Nuova” offers national and international connections on the following lines: Munich-Brennero-Verona-Bologna- Florence-Rome and Turin-Milan-Verona-Trieste. Parking: cars can be parked at “Parcheggio Arena” which is 300 m far from Palazzo della Gran Guardia and at the “Verona Fiere Parking Area” just in front of the Convention Center. |
