VENUE Lingotto Convention Center Via Nizza, 280 10126 Torino www.expo2000.it REGISTRATION To register for the Meeting, participants are kindly requested to fill in the enclosed registration form and send it back to the Organising Secretariat together with payment of the registration fee, not later than 15 September 2008. After this date registrations will be accepted on site, only. Registration during the Meeting will not guarantee availability of the congress documents or participation to the working lunches. Registration entitles participants to:

Upon presentation of a university attendance certificate, students will be exempted from paying the registration fee. Free student registration entitles to attend the scientific sessions, but does not include participants’ kit, book of proceedings and working lunches. SOCIAL PROGRAM Friday 10 October 2008 19:00 Presidents’ Reception Saturday 11 October 2008 20:30 Gala Dinner (€ 100,00 per person) ACCOMPANYING PERSON PROGRAM Friday 10 October 2008 Guided tour of Turin City Center and its main historical and artistic attractions. Saturday 11 October 2008 Guided tour of the “Langhe” and Wine Region. Guided tours will take place if a minimum number of 20 participants is reached. HOTEL RESERVATION Hotel reservations can be arranged by filling in the enclosed form in all its sections and sending it to the Organising Secretariat together with advanced payment of the deposit amounting to the cost for one night. The remaining charge shall be paid directly at the hotel which will issue invoice or receipt for the entire amount. Please note that the number of single rooms is limited; when they are sold out, double rooms used as single will be assigned. The above conditions are not applied in case of corporate booking. For corporate booking and group reservations, please contact the Organising Secretariat directly. CANCELLATIONS AND REIMBURSEMENTS The Organising Secretariat must be informed of cancellations by September 10, 2008. No reimbursements of registration fees or hotel deposits shall be made after this date. PAYMENTS Payments of fees and hotel deposits may be made as follows:
The complex is not far from Porta Nuova, Turin’s main rail station. A 10 minute connection is guaranteed by direct bus and tram lines. Motorists turning off motorways and ring roads are advised to leave exits at: - MONCALIERI coming from Piacenza, Pavia, Genoa and Savona, - STUPINIGI coming from Milan, Aosta, Fréjus and Pinerolo. Lingotto is served by underground parking areas for 3,500 cars. Access and security services are computer- monitored. In addition to the access roads to the car parks, direct backstage access is also available for heavy vehicles transporting special exhibition fittings, instruments and equipment. |
