The 5th AME – ANIED Joint Meeting will be held on
Saturday, November 6.
All sessions will be held in Italian.
POSTER SESSION
The deadline for abstract submission is September
20, 2010.
Authors will be notified of the abstract acceptance
by October 15, 2010.
Posters will be posted on Friday, November 5, from 10.00 am to 01.00 pm and discussed on Friday,
November 5, from 01.00 to 02.00 pm and on Saturday, November 6, from 01.30 to 02.30 pm.
Authors of the best posters selected for oral presentation will be informed on Saturday, November
6, in the afternoon.
Best poster oral presentation: Sunday, November 7, from 11.00 to 12.30 am
LANGUAGE
Italian – English simultaneous translation will be available for main sessions held in Room 1. The remaining parallel sessions will be held in Italian.
All slides and posters will be in English.
ECM
Italian ECM credits will be requested for the Meeting
and Satellite Symposia, separately.

Winning authors will be invited to attend the “2nd Course in Clinical Endocrinology” in March 2011
(registration fee, accommodation and travel expenses will be fully covered).
TECHNICAL EQUIPMENTS
The meeting rooms will be equipped with:
- video projection from PC/CD ROM;
- overhead projector;
- simultaneous translation (Room 1).
Only PowerPoint presentations
(1998, 2000, XP) will be accepted. Videos and clips should be inserted into the PowerPoint presentations.
SPEAKER READY ROOM
At the Congress Centre a speaker ready room will be available.
Speakers are asked to arrive at the speaker ready room at least two hours in advance of their session.
Technicians will be available to assist speakers.
CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE
All regularly registered participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the Meeting.
EXHIBITION
There will be a large exhibition area parallel to the working sessions. Representatives from the major pharmaceuticals/technology manufacturers operating in the endocrine and metabolic fields are eager to meet you and answer your questions.
